Founded by Ian Pope in 2019, RF Ventures employs a sustainability focused approach to property renewal that seeks to rehabilitate and preserve a residential asset, thereby avoiding the environmental impacts of entirely new construction.

“When I started it was borne out of a long held passion for property and a desire to see if I could build a business in a new industry.

“I quickly realised during the early stages that residential development, unless done carefully and at great cost, can involve significant environmental impacts. I swung my attention to sustainable development and the discovery of older properties which have unique characteristics, either architectural or material, and can be rehabilitated into modern sustainable homes.

Our approach is based on three guiding principles: 

• discovering land or buildings that have unique assets and where the redevelopment and upcycling opportunities have been overlooked; 

• identifying properties where the redevelopment potential can be aligned with approval processes and sustainable building practices; and 

• finding assets in bluechip locations providing greater certainty around future value. 

We then work with our partners to incorporate architectural, design and styling influences to create modern luxury homes in sought after locations.
